The ideal candidate knows how to have consultative sales conversations and is comfortable building their client base from scratch.

As an Account Executive, you will work with Salesforce.com, to generate new leads, bring in new business, as well as manage existing accounts and build customer relationships. This collaborative, team oriented environment has proven to be a path to great success for those who have an entrepreneurial spirit but want to be part of a results oriented team

This is a full-time position based out of our Walnut Creek, CA office. If you are located in the East Bay and commuting to San Francisco or the Peninsula this location will allow you to reduce the amount of time you spend commuting. AND, once you are trained and meet quota for three consecutive months you will be allowed to work remotely.

Initial “base” compensation is based on experience. Salary consists of base salary plus commissions, with no cap on commissions, and an accelerator if you exceed your yearly quota. Company benefits include: medical insurance, dental insurance, 401K and a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and grow new business opportunities
  • Accurately track, forecast, and deliver on sales goals to meet your sales quota
  • Effectively work with salesforce.com and other partners
  • Work in our collaborative sales process with Sales Engineering and operations
  • Identify client business requirements and determine best way to solve them using Salesforce and our services
  • Manage all phases of the business development cycle
  • Develop referral sources at salesforce.com
  • Present to CXO level prospects and clients
  • Complete sales-related documents for pricing and scoping new projects
  • Maintain accurate sales updates and track all activity in Salesforce
  • Participate or lead meetings with current and prospective customers

Qualifications:

  • College graduate
  • 2-3 years of proven successful selling SaaS or professional services using a consultative sales process
  • Experience using Salesforce for 1+ years
  • Proven strong interest in learning new technologies and working in a team environment
  • Ability to partner and sell effectively via both phone and on-site meetings
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport and develop long term relationships with strategic partners and prospective clients

We are a virtual company that uses the latest cloud-based technology to enable our employees to work from anywhere.

The Salesforce.com Consultant/Administrator position requires the ability to support our Salesforce customers across the US, acting as their outsourced Administrator and Salesforce consultant. In addition, you will be part of our virtual Salesforce.com project team that implements Salesforce.

You have at least two years of full time experience supporting Salesforce.com users, love working with Salesforce and are excited to grow your skills while working at your home office where you are a virtual extension of our team. Or you may work out of our office in Walnut Creek, CA.

You may be a Salesforce consultant or administrator now who is commuting or traveling too much and would prefer to spend more time working out of your home office while still having the challenges of working on interesting Salesforce projects, building strong relationships with customers and learning new skills.

You understand the strengths and limitations of Salesforce.

You take satisfaction in providing excellent support to your clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide Salesforce support to our customers remotely over the phone and using tools like GoToMeeting
  • Know the standard functionality of Salesforce.com and related best practices
  • Create trust with our customers by doing what you say you will do
  • Be open to learning, following our standard processes, and getting better at what you do
  • Work as part of an implementation team to implement Salesforce.com solutions created by our Solution Architects
  • Modify and Import data into Salesforce using Excel Connector, Data Loader, DataLoader.io and other tools
  • Assist with integration of AppExhange Solutions and third-party vendors

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Salesforce Certfied Administrator certification
  • Excellent communication skills
