If you’re attending Dreamforce 2023 and looking for a great location to grab some food and drink, don’t worry, we at StarrData have you covered. As Bay Area natives, here are the best Bay Area Breweries that are more than worth visiting during your stay in the Bay. We’re sure there are other brilliant venues in the area; these are our favorites and the ones we tend to visit. (List is not ordered).
Cellarmaker
Cellarmaker has 3 locations: one in San Francisco (3193 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94110), one in Oakland (300 Webster St, Oakland, CA 94607), and one in Berkeley (940 Parker St, Berkeley, CA 94710), all with distinct vibes to explore. Outside of having a great selection of beers, they’re known for their Detroit-style pizza squares with a Northern California twist.
Great Notion
Located near the Berkeley waterfront (2031 Fourth St, Berkeley, CA 94710), Great Notion has some of the best in-house beers in Northern California. It’s a typical weekend destination for the StarrData ranks and is dog-friendly, which is excellent because we love poodles.
Fieldwork
Founded in Berkeley (1160 Sixth St, Berkeley, CA 94710), Fieldwork has a tremendous open venue in Berkeley and brews some fantastic IPAs and sours. They have great indoor and outdoor seating options, and sometimes, you can get freshly cooked pizza from the pop-up right outside.
The Crafty Fox
Located at 1700 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94103, The Craft Fox has 36 beers on tap, plus a solid menu of classic American meals. They are closed on Mondays but are available for parties and corporate events if you want a location during Dreamforce.
Faction Brewing
Faction, located at 2501 Monarch St, Alameda, CA 94501, is a longtime destination for us. They brew some of the best beers in California and have a great venue to enjoy time with others.
Sante Adairius Rustic Ales
Founded in Santa Cruz, Sante Adairius Rustic Ales (460 8th St Oakland, CA 94607) is a small brewery inspired by Belgian tradition. Their Oakland location on 8th Street is cozy and comfortable, with a spacious dog-friendly patio.
Ghost Town
With 2 locations in Oakland– one at 1960 Adeline St., and another at 3506 MacArthur Blvd– don’t get frightened by Ghost Town‘s spooky aesthetic. They have some fantastic beers and large open areas to converse with others.
Original Pattern
This award-winning employee-owned brewery is at 292 4th St, Oakland, CA 94607. They recently partnered with Citizen Pizza Co., which pops up 7 days a week, selling some great pizza at Original Pattern. They have a wide variety of beers and were recently named one of the top 1- best new breweries in the U.S. by USA Today.
Headlands
Headlands Brewing has two incredible locations: one in Berkeley and the other in Lafayette. Both places have large outdoor spaces, are family-friendly and dog-friendly, and have fantastic smash burgers.
